In August of 2019, the Town Board of Sullivan adopted Ordinance 2019-7.  The ordinance was created and revised from the State of Wisconsin Cemetery Ordinance to pertain to the Town of Sullivan.  This Ordinance can be viewed in full on the Town Website under "Ordinances", or requested via Open Records Law.  
Cemetery rules have been posted and on March 31, 2020 the Town started removing decorations from all Town of Sullivan cemeteries.  All decorations that  were picked up have been saved and placed in the vesitbule at the Town Hall.  The Town employees inadvertently picked up shepherds hooks which ARE the preferred method for plants, and flowers.  We are sorry for the inconvenience, however you may pick them up at the Town Hall at your convenience.
While we respect your right to honor your loved ones, decorations have been getting carried away and making grounds-keeping a nightmare.  Please keep decorations on headstone foundation in urns, vases, or shepheards hooks.
